"I love Technology... but not as much as you, you see!" -Napoleon Dynamite

Technology. Do I have experience?
Everyday I realize more and more the importance of technology. It is everywhere and used for everything. Technology is a necessity, whether it be using "Blackboard" to access assignments and figure out your grades for a specific class in school, or emailing a friend that is half way around the world to keep updated on their lives- which allows you to strengthen your relationships when you can't be in their presence. There are programs that allow presentations given in class or at work to become less stressful, more organized, and look more professional. There are even programs that allow you to make your own movies. These new "tools" are very useful in the classroom, but the cool, exciting thing is that they can be used in everyday life: Homemade digital scrapbooks, home movies, etc.
So let me ask myself again, do I have experience with technology? Yes. But, taking this class will be the biggest blessing in my life. Being in this class will help me "expand my horizons" by knowing of more, better forms of technology and actually be able to learn how to use them effectively in a classroom. Technology is fascinating for all ages, so the more knowledge I acquire during this class- the more comfortable I will feel teaching this to my kids in the classroom and the more fun we will have doing it.
